Our Founder
Bob Rohrer is an accomplished senior Human Resources executive with more than thirty years of International, progressive, diverse and successful private and public sector business management experience. Bob’s most recent employment assignment was with Magna International Inc, a publicly traded Canadian company with a global footprint and one of the world’s largest suppliers of automotive parts, stampings, interiors, modules and complete vehicle assemblies. At Magna, Bob served in a global HR executive role for the Cosma Sub Group of Magna International. In this position Bob had “hands on” accountability and responsibility for all HR / LR activities at 23 business divisions located in Canada, the United States, Ireland and China, where he played an integral role in the “start up” and continued successful operation of a new Magna greenfield division located in Tianjin, China.
Prior to joining Magna, Bob honed his business acumen, skill and expertise in strategic Human Resources and Labour Relations management through numerous and varied International assignments he successfully performed at Russel Metals Inc.; Trizec Corporation; Cooper Canada Limited; Ford Motor Company of Canada Limited; Varity International (Massey Ferguson Industries Limited); and Maple Leaf Mills Limited.
Bob is an active member of the Human Resources Professional Association and holds its’ highest professional designation. As a Mediator he is an active member of the ADR Institutes of Ontario and Canada respectively. Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Windsor as well as Professional Designations in Labour Relations Management from Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario, and in Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution from Stitt, Feld & Handy in Toronto, Ontario, and the Conrad Grebal University College at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario.
Bob is a founding member on the Board of Directors for the Oakville, Ontario Branch of Junior Achievement of Canada, and until 2006 served as a volunteer member on the Board of Directors for Bereaved Familes of Ontario, Halton / Peel Chapter.
